Sweet Almond Oil. Prunus Amygdalus Sativa Kernel Oil is the fixed oil obtained from the kernels of the Sweet Almond, Prunus amygdalus var. sativa, Rosaceae (syn: Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis, Rosaceae). It contains chiefly glycerides of oleic acid and some linolenic etc. acids, but not of stearic acid
